  SAND CLOCK (I)  
A nomadic tribe of Masons living in the desert only use glass 'sand-clocks' to measure the passing time.

They now have a problem where they want to ensure part of a Ceremony doesn't exceed 9 minutes.

However, the DC only brought two sand-clocks with him today (typical): one 7-minute and one 4-minute.

How can he correctly time 9 minutes using these two sand-clocks?
