  FERRY ME HOME  
In this age of correctness where everything is governed by rules, it appears that a mixed party are travelling together (see picture below) a Cop, a Robber, Mother and her two dsughters, and a Father and his two sons, need to get across the River which incidentally is full of Crocodiles, Pirhana, Sharks, Industrial Polution and anything else that prevents them from wading or swimming across!

The following restrictions have been imposed:
1.  The raft can only be operated by the Cop, the male adult or the female Adult
2.  Only two allowed on the raft
3.  The adult female cannot be left alone with boys
4.  The adult male cannot be left alone with girl
5.  The Robber cannot be left with any family member without the Cop being there.

The the question is, "In what order do they transport themselves across to the other side?"




If you physically want to move them about try this link: Ferry Puzzle.  Click on the blue disc to take you to the puzzle.  Once it loads and the picture appears, click on whoever you want to go on the raft and then press the red lever to operate the raft.  You may need to turn the volume off as the 'jingle' for an incorrect choice becomes very annoying, very quickly!!
