THE WINNERS HAVE YET TO BE ANNOUNCED FOR THE MINIATURE VISITORS' TROPHY 2008

The Rules are as follows:

1.  Open Season 1st January to 31st December.

2.  The Trophy can only be claimed by a Lodge belonging to the South West Cumberland Group or the West Cumberland Group in the Province of Cumberland and Westmorland.
(This Rule was amended Wednesday, 22nd March 2006)

3.  To claim the Trophy a Visiting Lodge must have seven or more Brethren from the same Lodge present and signed into the Tyler's Book by their own hand and not by proxy.  Ultimately, the Lodge with the most 'Visiting Brethren' on the night (with seven or more Brethren), will have the right to claim the Visitor's Trophy.
(This Rule was amended Monday, 15th May 2006)

4.  In the event of two or more Lodges having the right to claim the Trophy (equal numbers of visiting Brethren), then the Lodge who has the first seven Members signed into the Tyler's book shall be deemed the official 'Claimants.'
(This Rule was amended Monday, 15th May 2006)

5.  The Visiting Members of the successful Lodge shall donate £1.00 each to the Charity Account of the Lodge currently holding the Trophy.

6.  The Lodge losing the Trophy shall enter the name on the successful Lodge and Visiting Brethren of that Lodge into their Minute Book.

7.  The Lodge claiming the Trophy shall inform the George K. Thompson ~ Information Officer on 01229 772640 or email  George   the following information:

     a.  Date of Claim.
     b.  The Lodge Name and Number from which the Trophy was claimed.
     c.  The Lodge Name/No., Address and next Meeting date of the Claiming Lodge.

8.  A replica Trophy shall be provided for the Lodge who successfully claims the Trophy on the most occasions at the end of each 12 month 'Open Season'.  In the case of a 'tie', the Trophy will go to the Lodge that had the largest overall number of recorded Visiting Brethren for the same period.

9.  A record book shall travel with the Trophy.  The successful Brethren shall eneter their names and Lodge details.

The Trophy is intended to promote good hearted rivalry and visiting between Lodges and hopefully generating activity and fund raising within the Province.

Hopefully the details of which Lodge currently holds the Trophy will be updated to this Topic as soon as they are known so that 'Visiting Lodges' can plan their strategy!

Lastly Brethren, if you do intend to visit a Lodge 'en mass,' then please contact the Secretary well beforehand so that the appropriate dining requirements can be arranged - it would be a shame to visit a Lodge with a large 'delegation' and not get fed for your efforts!

These Rules were promulgated, and subsequently amended by W. Bro Morley.  Any further amendments or queries to these Rules should be addressed directly to W. Bro. Morley, Lodge of Friendship, and NOT to the Webmaster.
